@AirgunAddict256 Well....put plainly, NO. There is one MAJOR DIFFERENCE! a "SNIPER" has to acount wind drift, bullet drop and all kinds of other considerations, but most of them are PRONE, with a bipod! you try and hit an asprin at 50m KNEELING and it's tough, Freehand...huh.. good luck! firing off hand is like shooting form a rowboat in the north Atlantic if you don't know what your doing!
You find a center-fire guy trying to hit a grapefruit OffHand at 800yrds....That's a good shot!

I shoot in rimfire comp. and shooting at a 100yds is not the same as with centerfires at 800+
i dont remember last time i had to factor in the coriolis effect with 22s
we have M40A3 for targets within a 1,000, SASRs are for anti material not personnel
try shooting a 22 at 200-300yds to get the feel of what the wind and bullet drop does to the rd and youll know what I mean
and.. 200yd shooting at 6in bullseyes with 22LR is possible even with iron sights

I have the Anschutz model 2313 shown in the opening seconds of this video, and its accuracy is second to none. I would recommend this firearm to anyone.

agreed. still, it's a tack-driver. every single part of that gun is put on there for a very important reason. i'd love to try and shoot one of those rifles, but i wouldn't wanna own one because of the looks. nothing to show off at all lol except some green swirls. they're still some of the most accurate airguns made. but i don't want one.
the kind of shooting recommended for that gun is equivalent to actual sniper shooting. there is no less science that is put into that kind of shooting than shooting a .50 caliber sniper rifle at 800 yards in Iraq. the targets he can shoot out to 100 or more yards are only about 3/4 of an inch. do the math and a 3/4 inch target at 100 yards is the same size-to-range ratio as a sniper in the Army or Marines. placing 109 out of over 1 million shooters is quite a feat.

ok listen...
guns dont get pregnant
they dont complain if you ignore them
they never ask for jewlery or dates
and the only time a gun will be uncooperative is if you feed it bad ammo and/or never clean it....
