Hey guys, pretty nice idea. Would it be a problem to just move to for example the 2. to 5. fret?

props. from creative dream to reality is a great way to live.

This is interesting enough, but it is a very ugly device...

@wellesradio Oh yeah, I'd never say he doesen't have mad skills. Ability being 1/8 is almost too much credit. My influences lately have been mostly chinese and vietnamese traditional music, the stringed stuff like dan tranh pipa, guzheng, and ruan music. I'm a mediocre guitar player. I also sing and prolifically write music. I've been taking my guitar playing more seriously and improving it lately. My fingers are sore these days, lol.
Voice was engineered to fit on the 1st-4th fret of most standard guitar necks.
It can not be moved around the neck, but once studied you can see that moving it is not really necessary. Four frets gives you every chording possibility. I go into more detail on the faq of the voicecapo website. All the best!

Does it hold the chord without any of the fretted notes slipping out from under the note depressing pieces when bending notes higher up on the neck?

@bozzojoe To a point. Very fast and hard strumming does not seem to affect the depressed notes, and slight bending is not an issue. Really strong bends close to the depressed note can cause it to slip out from under the pad.
All the best!
