very cool, what size drill bit did you find gives you the best flow rate? any idea of temp. change from the sparging container to the outflow?

It works great! I've been using it for about a year, and it still works like a charm. A friend of mine made one too, and he had a play around a bit with the size of the holes drilled into the tubing- he started off too big and then re-ran the tubing and used a smaller size. I recommend starting small, testing it, and working to larger sizes as need be.
