Bad Road Of Harike Pattan

This is my favourite video of all time. You can see the vastness of Satluj river in this video and also
the gudwara sahib.

I was returning from Amritsar to Muktsar on 12 Sep.2009 via Harike. The bridge over the
Satluj river is in such a worse condition that it is very painful to cross the bridge by car.
I am unable to understand why the Punjab Government of India is not doing anything
to make a better road on the bridge.

I think the govt. is of the views similar to those
of Antony about Julius Ceasar. His view was that the great king Julius Ceasar may become
a tyrant one day so it is better to kill him now. The same view is of the Pujab government that
in the event of any war with pakistan, the broken bridge will be of no use to pakistany army so
we should not construct a new road upon it. The real meaning is that if we do not have a war
with Pakistan for the next 20 years then we will not be having a new road on the sutlej/satluj
bridge for the next 20 years.

Shame! on the punjab government on this point.
