It's because of the government ignoring Darfur, the Janjaweed who are considered Arabs, and the ongoing droughts, desertification, little water, but the biggest problem is identity problem, african vs Arabs.

This video is nothing but a propaganda. On both sides, people are Arab-speaking ethnies (only the dialects change), both people are physically black Africans and both groups are Muslims.

The key difference however is in the political opposition and armed insurrection that local populations have waged against the Central Government. The latter has retaliated in a non-acceptable manner. But it is not based on racial consideration, as all Sudanese are black and Africans. STOP the PROPAGANDA.
