Laurie Lingo & The Dipsticks were the reason I laughed at the polar bear in the hot air balloon in the film 'The Golden Compass'. 'Ooh look, a bear in the air' was on this viewer's lips!

I do agree with his view of Pans People. Even as an exictable early teen they never did it for me, even tho i turned out to be reassuringly hetrosexual!
