  • Ciao Nat, proponi sempre cose sorprendenti.

Cheers, Nat

  • tried posting a couple days ago when this video was first out, but seems to have been lost.

I can see how you could easily turn over a little beaner/pup stove to get the biochar out, but what about with the regular full sized Lucia/world stove, or the much anticipated home heating sized stove, how would you get the biochar out?

will it have a nice built in handle you turn to dump the biochar at the bottom?

And how is the fanless model coming!?

  • The LuciaBBQ is emptied (once done with cooking) in the same way that the Beaner and the PupStove are. After all, The LBBQ has a maximum char production per run of two liters or so. All you have to do is grab one or two of the side rods, carry it over to your garden or flower pots and pour it out over the surface. Roughly enough char for 1-5 square meters of soil per cookout.

  • As for the home heating units we are working on. The gasification version produces no char and the Pyrolytic version has a continual char extraction so you need only empty the biochar hopper every so often.

  • The fan free one does not yet have emissions and power levels where I would like it to be. As solutions (for now) the Beaner and PupStove are fan free, and some versions of the LuciaStove have solar, thermo-electric, or other power options.

  • I realy like the way Worldstove tries to improve the social and environmental conditions in devoloping countries. I think this is the way to save the world and make it livable for all people.

I've just recived the confimation of my order (Pupstove), and i'm realy curious :)

I'll write a review here when i've got it...
