"St. Albans sanatorium is by far the most active site we have had the pleasure of investigating, and nearly all of our investigators had significant personal experiences here- from interaction with shadow people to what appears to be an actual touchActivity began immediately upon our arrival at 9pm. During set-up, several investigators in the third floor dormitory heard footsteps and voices, and others who had entered the basement of the second building, also heard whispers and footsteps.
St. Albans is a catacomb of winding passages and dead-end hallways, with a maze of doors and stairs in every direction. " -- Seven Hills Paranormal Society

  • I Ghost hunted there once with the people from the show 'Ghost Hunters' It was freaking Epic. Everyone had to pay $200 each but I got in for free because the Guy who owned the place was the manager of my brothers band. He dosent own the place anymore :/

  • i wish that stuff did happen. ive been there alot. even made my own video. i have had some crazy stuff happen to me though. like we went up "Amy's Room" and the when we came back down the door was locked. dead-bolted. truth.

  • St. Albans is actually being saved. It was purchased by a new owner. Check out Friends of St. Albans on Facebook.

  • Is this hertfordshire we're talking about or some other st albans

  • I would love to see this as a movie, unfortunately, I hear that the old St. Albans buildings will be torn down eventually. I'm going to try to get down there for a paranormal investigation before that happens. If there's any way that you can send me the contact info that I need for permission to do so that would be great, I'm from Waynesboro so that's a couple hour drive for me.

  • This is awesome. How did you get in? I need to get some photos for a class... Any suggestions?

  • Do you have any ideal what you could have gotten into. The Spirits are very, very real at St Albans !!!!
