@FrostyMint02 No, the alarm clock does not make the shadow..look at 2:15 the rooster is casting a shadow against the wall. If the light was coming from the clock there would be no shadow there. The main light source is coming from the top.

I understand it's a commercial, but it's fake, look at the shadow on the rooster if the light was from the alarm clock, there would be no shadow there. Fake !

Last year Philips woke up a rooster, now they are attempting to wake up an arctic town where the sun doesn't rise for 4 months in winter.
