It is always amazing when Tracey Ullman plays more than one of her characters in a scene. Which she does in this one from TRACEY TAKES ON MARRIAGE. She plays KAY CLARK, and SYDNEY KROSS. This was one of two big scenes I wrote for the character of KAY CLARK - both "romantic" - in this one she is talked into marrying a client of Sydney's on death row - Kurt Rasmussen. Played perfectly by MAURY CHAYKIN. The prison guard is played by ERIC WINZENRIED.

What truly makes this clip so funny is that it is dead-on accurate to the legal mindset. Lawyers care not one iota for truth, rather manipulation. Plus, the MIDNIGHT EXPRESS parody was genius!
