  • I made a scarf (knit one yo, yo, drop two), I specifically asked for fine alpaca. After I was at the end of my project (there was a label that she had placed in the middle that said sock yarn. sock yarn. Do I have to block it? I'm upset because it is like an elastic yarn. I need help since is for my daughter birthday.

  • @VilmaBelen You don't have to block it if you like the way it looks unblocked, but if you feel it needs to be blocked you certainly can.

  • I made a scarf (knit one yo, yo, drop two) I don't know if that is consider lace, but the lady at the store sold me a sock yarn, I thought I was buying alpaca because that is what I asked for. When I get to almost the end I noticed that inside it was the label that it said that it was sock yarn. Do I have to block it. I'm upset because it is like an elastic yarn. I need help since is for my daughter birthday.
