The light is not timed--it is called, so don't feel insulted. The wait is too long though and hopefully that can get changed.

Yea but as soon as the button is pressed things should be turning yellow. Having to wait for no cars that are coming is insulting. Clearly timed rather than requested.

Yes, the one at 40th/Cedar is older, and also has a protective island and an arm's-length-distance button.

Isn't there already a bicycles only trigger on the 40th street greenway? It's also triggered by cars so not bicycle ONLY but it's a bicycle signal that's been there I think longer.
