The Designer Knows Best. The basics from Genesis gives a foundation for the way God views women in ministry. In this segment from the first DVD of "Women in Ministry Silenced or Set Free?" Genesis is examined and compared against the opposing viewpoint which limits women in ministry. 2006 MM Outreach production.
I believe a lot of the problems with women in ministry stems from the Roman Catholic Church and Constantine when they made a hierarchical structure in the church I recommend people also read Jon Zens book What's With Paul And Women he also has a video on youtube titled the Clergy/Laity Lie. I used to believe that only men should lead until I started really studying the subject and realized that there is no hierarchy in Christ we are not to have a leadership pattern like the world does.

@blaq7427 James 4:4-6 You adulterous people. don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. If the world loves homosexuality and feminism then the world and these things that they love are enemies of God. If you are in agreement with homosexuality and feminism--then how can you claim to love God and want to be guided by Him?

@coolwater55 John 15:18-19 If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.
Jesus is saying here that if the world loves you or the things that you do then you are not a follower of Jesus because if you were the world would hate you.

@coolwater55 I may indeed be in disagreement with some biblical scholars and some so-called high church leaders who may share a lot of the biblical views you have, but more than likely they are apostate and don't truly know Jesus or have the Holy Spirit guiding their thoughts and actions. If I agreed with them I wouldn't be in the will of God. True born again Christians have a certain amount of spiritual discernment when it comes to biblical matters.

So your argument is not with me. It is with Jesus. It is with not reading everything in the bible as it does say - women are leaders.
Your argument is with the biblical scholars and high church leaders who are probably much more educated and learned than the average person.
Because they agree now that Jesus did NOT restrict women and in FACT women can lead a church or congregation.
So, take it up with those guys. I did not change the laws or ways at all.

Jesus did not restrict women. Acts shows that both men and women present all received the power of the Holy Spirit.
So, are we to say that seeing as no one was breathed on exactly like the 12 apostles that no one else can be a church leader? That is how it seems men are trying to narrow things down.
In FACT women are Bishops, priests, pastors, prophetesses, etc in the church today and sanctioned by men who adhere to the bible.

@blaq7427
I am not confused at all about minister, apostle, deacon, - Junia is listed as outstanding amoung apostles.
The translation in Rm 16:1 uses either deacon or minister.
Leading a congregation? standing on a pulpit? is not the only way people influence or sway others in religion.
However, the terms are many, prophets also have authority and sway over people. Moses and Elijah ie.
Someone forming a CHURCH to create a heirarchy which has leaders and followers.

There are 4 states in this passage.
marriage, born homosexual, made homosexual by other men or castrated by other men, or celibacy.
That is from Jesus. Celibacy is not saying one is castrated. But eunuchs made eunuchs by men, mean either castration (which was common when men were to protect women) or made homesexual.
Celibacy for the sake of GOD. Then why would Jesus not come out and say remain a virgin or be chaste? Instead he uses the term eunuch. Very interesting.

@coolwater55 You keep confusing an apostle or deacon for someone who leads a congregation.

@coolwater55 Regarding eunuchs, Jesus said "there be some eunuchs which made themselves eunuchs" which means some men live like eunuchs ,for example catholic priests, "for the sake of the kingdom of God." They don't literally castrate themselves.
