Hyundai Coupe 2.0 litre 16v Won't Idle

Please help me diagnose the fault! It's a 1999 Hyundai Coupe, 2.0 litre 16v DOHC engine. It won't idle, it revs to 2,000 RPM, then coughs and splutters, then revs back up to 2,000. It does this repeatedly.

It's sorted itself out now! Thanks for your help. It had been sat without starting for 6 months so think it was old fuel. Just flew through an MOT test!

This video was made on the same day. This is how it idles with a load on the engine. The headlights and air conditioning are on and it idles, but does jump from 1,200 RPM to 1,800 RPM randomly. Turn off the lights and air conditioning and it continues to idle as per the other videos.

i had the 1.6 tibby RD 1, that did the same thing. i got my throttle position sensor and my mass air flow meter changed an it stopped. i dnt no wich 1 did the job but both wer around 40 quid. hope its helps ther such a good car.
