  • ooh paul...

  • Love the bit at 3.39 where Ringo stops too early.

The Beatles would have had no problem playing live (see Ed Sullivan shows) - miming was imposed by the TV producers because it was easier.

  • Love John's "bouncing," so awkwardly sexy.

  • LOVE the Day Tripper dance

  • What is the name of this show ? I bet this is very rare ,

  • OMG! So funny Ringo at 03:39!!

  • they could have done it, because the technology obviously existed at the time. The Ed Sullivan Show began in the 40's and it was all live, even The Beatles' performance in 1964. But anyway, this show is trully amazing, such culture and good music is not on TV anymore :-( Long Live The Beatles and Rock n' Roll!!!

  • well in one way I think you are right. They could have done it but it was costly and budgets weren't what they are now. It was just easier. We used to wish they were live but mostly they were only live in concert!

  • Why all the mandatory lipsynching? I think the technology was available at the time for artists to do decent live performances on TV. A bit of a let down to see all this pretending.

  • herrllich!
