The Living Girdle

In this true story a woman recalls an earlier, more 'innocent' time—the mid 1950s—when as a chubby teenager she gets a job as a bag packer at the local grocery store. One of the stockers, a teenage heart-throb, notices her, and she is shocked, excited and nervous when this good-looking guy with a convertible asks her out on a date. She thinks they might go to a drive-in or a party. Instead, she finds herself on a dark and deserted road in a forest. He is aggressive, and has only one thing in mind. But she is wearing her Playtex Living Girdle. It turns out to be the ultimate protection.
