@seronic Every show starts slow, ever hear of character development? As for people saying it wasn't like the other shows, yeah. This show had much more believable flawed characters. The other shows were great but very predictable. They were always going to make the right choices and always do the over the top ethnically right choice.
And no if it was like the other shows it wouldn't be on with the money problems MGM was having.

SGU season 1 dragged along. My first time seeing it I thought to myself "Dear God, what is this crap?". Then Season 2 hit, I watched every episode (you know why? So the franchise wouldn't fail, something most of you idiots out there didn't realize). I loved it. Season 2 for the most part was AMAZING. I re-watched season 1 with more of an open mind, and it was even better than I remembered. I loved most episodes. We were robbed of a great TV series. RIP Stargate :<

@pismodude2 INDEED!!!! if they made SGU more like the other two shows it would still be on!! It was to much of a soap show in space with lame ass characters that nobody cares about!
