does anyone know of any bluegrass artists that have the same sort of feel to their music as Dierks does on his Up On the Ridge album? i cant seem to find any :(

A ton of BLUEgrass music sounds like this....people should listen to more of it if they enjoy this. They should check out Progress Bluegrass. Listen to bands such as: Blue Highway, The Infamous Stringdusters, Dan Tyminski and branch out from there. I play in a traveling Bluegrass band and even I can't stand whiny old bluegrass.
