Tonight's my last night in Donegal and I just got back from my 3rd visit to the Reel Inn. Steven didn't sing tonight, but he did the last 2 nights and he's excellent, as are all the musicians. Great place, highly recommended.

Stephen has a great voice I think he is 20 now. My wife and I were there in April 2009. That is his Grandfather John playing the accordian. His Mom does a great job with Oh Danny Boy as well. If you have been there once you are now family. See you next year boys!

Das Lied wird "Boulavogue" genannt und ist ein altes irisches Lied über einen Kampf zwischen den Iren und den Briten, und dem Führer, Vater Murphy, der festgenommen und getötet wurde.

Actually, I was sitting next to John when I took this video, and played the bodhran with them all evening. It was a thrill for me, I can tell you. Don't know when we'll get back there, but definitely plan a return visit.

Spent a wonderful evening in The Reel Inn this past June....Great Craic...Feels like your a guest in someones house with a well stocked bar and a great musician everywhere you turn...
