This is not racist at all. Sports Illustrated took a survey of native americans and found that 12% found them offensive. All of u who are crying about it, r makin your race look bad.

@nativemrv19722 and thats a sick part, they dont care becasue they're making money from it and they will when more people hear the thruth and get the right facts and fight back (legally) the schools r all over and soon the big teams will too, its like slavery, the racists wanted to keep that becasue they were getting rich off non white labor, and free labor

@lion3p0 Well some people are aways going to be jackasses. You can't worry about them to much. Because if you focus on them to much you give them power over you. The way i see it. Every one isn't going to do the right thing. A nd lot of whites just don't now how to respect other people. They came here from England and just started building house like no one was here.

@nativemrv19722 no i went off a little half cocked, love ur team but not the name ir the bad it represents, imagine that being a black man and it says N****ers if that would give u a better perspective, its the racist white people who use these, im not Seminole but i grew up near the oklahoma Seminoles, who oppose FSU and so do many florida Seminoles, its the negativity the names and alot of fans cause, not the team itself

@lion3p0 And if i remember correctly your tribe voted to keep the Seminole name with the School. I myself will not change my view on this matter. The only mascot i have a problem with is the Cleveland Indians mascot. He looks like a joke. With me as long as it is serious looking mascot i have no problem with it.

@lion3p0 If i upset you then i am sorry. I first thought you were a white racists are some one trying  to push my buttons which i will not tolerant . I run into many crazy people on youtube. And it is hard for me to see anything wrong with mascots. Your own tribe has a team, a College team named after them. I just love my Redskins and have meet many full bloods in my area that like them to. My view is you can't please every one.

@nativemrv19722 No, Seminole peoples, and countless other peoples hid slaves and freed them, i hate the fact that the cherokee's did and i find it despicable, but they were the mostly white mixed blood aristocracy, but i think we need to have a conversation thats alittle more calm and collected on both our parts, but be weary my paitence is thin towards mascot supporters
