This is an exceptional album of electronically based ensemble music. From atmospheric country-blues numbers to inventive reworkings of Gregorian chants and Sufi whirling-dervish influences, Maunu's music is filled with well-designed synthetic textures, compelling melodies and absorbing solos. Guest appearances by O'Hearn and Isham also give the album a Group 87 reunion feel.

found one of my "lost boxes" with a lot of my older music- and this was in it. Excellent album, made before the awful 'loudness wars' ruined a lot of CD music.

blisser, thanks a bunch for another timeless classic from the great Peter Maunu. Of note is the Jimi Hendrix guitar riff at 1:00- 1:04, and at 1:27...chilling.
