This organ is amplified by two Allen Gyrophonic speakers. A leslie simulator is also installed. The first part of the song will demonstrate the gyrophonic sound. You will see the speakers rotate. The last part of the song will have the Lesly simulator activated.

@polywog690 Thanks for the comment and compliment. It is an encouragement to me. The Lord gives his church (believers) gifts. Other people have gifts that I cannot do. All believers are part of the body of Christ and have a needed function to encourage one another as you have done, and to present the gospel to a lost world.

Great playing, though the speaker does not cut it... it makes the Hammond sound as some sort of barrel organ you hear at festivals and fairs. Not good.... but great playing nonetheless.

Connect a Leslie if you can and do it again :)

@SilverHammond Thanks for the comment. I agree! The gyrophonic speakers are not as good as the Leslie. I wanted to try give people an idea what they sound like so they will know to buy a Leslie instead of a gyrophonic. I have an extra 122 Leslie I can hook to this organ. When my work slows down, I'll see about doing it again with the Leslie 122.

@FenrirLupus They use brushes like on a DC electric motor. They make contact on a smooth surface unlike the slotted surface used on a motor.

@MrBenni77 The Leslie speakers in my opion sound better than the gyrophonic speakers. The trumpets that rotate on your Leslie speaker throw the sound all around the room. On the gyrophonic speaker, the speakers rotate on a disc but are always facing the same direction. They do not produce the deep vibrato sound as the Leslie speakers do. If you ever post anything with your Hammond, let me know. I would like to see it!

@MrBenni77 Thanks, the speakers that are rotating are called gyrophonic speaker that were made by the Allen Organ company. They have a different sound than a leslie but still nice. The song, "Winter Wonderland" shows another set of gyrophonic speakers.

@Kekik79 Thanks for the comment. I have never heard this song on the guitar but I'm sure is sounds great. Maybe you would upload a video of you playing it sometime. I like guiter music but only know the G and D chord very slowly.

Awesome. Seriously brings tears to my eyes. My dad really loved this song, alas I could never play it on a keyboard instrument but on a guitar instead. My brother is an adept keyboardist though.
