Finally. Some humor!
In case it wasn't clear in the video, backlinks are links from other sites that point to your site. For Example, my site may need help getting some visitors. So i try to do my best, or ask the owner of another site (preferably popular) to make a link from their site to mine. That way, i could get more visitors.
Putting the aspect of SEO as a game is smart. The better your good at it, the better you will be later on. It's like a game of Monopoly.
