My Hyosung GT125R,

I brought this bike Friday the 13th of march, since then i have done 1,500miles.

I crashed this bike Sunday 29th of March.

This is my tribute to the machine that brought me happiness.

'the crash'
I ran out of road on the corner travelling at around 50-60mph in a 40mph zone. I straightened the bike up and rode up the bank, the bike and i were a staggering 2 and a half metres (witness point of view) from the road and travelled around 6 metres along.

As you can see from my boots, full gear is essential. These vehicles aren't toys and i feel very stupid for crashing after only 2 weeks but if there's anything good to have come from it, it's the evidence i can show others.

My Injuries are minimal as i was wearing the full gear,

A bruised hip and shoulder, sprained ankle, cut on my elbow and a few other scratches.

  • hahaha, thats what you get for riding a bike like a retard !! its big or clever to jump over a round about, ask any biker, you should have your license took off ya, you idiot

  • @tarka401 Ha. Whatever you squid. Atleast i don't have a video of me doing some chavy little burnout til i 'pop' the tyre...

  • Thanks Alex..... also are they relable. And how fast do they go ? What's the weight like

  • @motorbikedude123 The Hyosung has a wet weight of about 180kgs, and the fastest i had out of it was 86mph down a big hill, i found they had big problems with overheating as they're air cooled. If you maintain motorway speeds for longer than 20mins (after a ride) they overheat and cut out. They use a 250cc V-Twin engine with smaller piston sleaves in to make it a 125cc. With Hyosungs the models (125, 250 & 650) all share parts, like they all have the same frame and fairings for example.

  • Hi there I'm thinking to get one of this bikes but I'm stuck...between the hyosung gt125r or the yammah yzf r125 can you point me all the good points and bad points of me please

    Thanks Jason

  • @motorbikedude123 I thought I'd add, the Hyosung is a bigger bike and the Yamaha puts more weight on your wrists as it's far more angled down at the front. I'd be happy to answer any other questions.

  • Glad your ok. How did you like the bike otherwise. Check out my giant killer robot project vids.

  • Also, it shows how well made hyosung bikes are, the core of that bike is intact, it's not unrepairable, so hyosung are not cheap bikes, the are a company on the up and soon will be a serious competitor to the jap Market

  • I like this video, not cos you were hurt, burt your educating others, I totally agree, all your gear is vital, these prats that go round in t-shirts in the summer are playing russian roulette with their lives. I've come off a motorbike twice, first due to torrential rain that came from no where, bike aquaplaned at 15-20mph and second was I took a roundabout a little too quickly and the back end stepped out, again 15mph, both times I came out with nasty bruises and that's with full gear on

  • You are an idiot, shoulda bought a new bike. Honda > *
