I've been trolling through the various artists and versions of this song
and I keep coming back to this one.
Though upbeat for a love song, pleading for company, it still gets the message and the sentiment through.
The back-up singers, the accompanying music, and especially the bass player are first class.

Sorry folks, I am not a Joan Kumbaya Baez fan, BUT I really do like this. Never imagined Joan doing a song with an upbeat C&W style, but this is good.
