Fabulous .... Love it
Shame I missed the program when it was on :(

@xebbakitty Ok, minus all of the " fucks " I agree with you; It's like they came to see an oddity instead of listen to some awesome music. It may take awhile before we learn to look at people who have disabilities and see the person underneath.

I watched the whole show on the BBC and I was very impressed with all of the people on the show, particularly Carly she is a real sweetheart and she has a fantastic set of pipes which are very well suited to Soul/R&B!
Special mention must go to her parents who have dedicated their whole lives to raising two autistic children...and may I say they are doing a damn fine job!

@tetheredthinker Yes I know Aspergers people still get ignored and many people don't appreciate the fact that we suffer badly. As a person who has it, I feel that we get a rougher end than our Autistic cousins as we understand what goes on in the world around us and yet still suffer some problems that Autistic people suffer from and whats worse is that many people cannot see this, but we feel it. Autism is easier to spot as people can see it. Aspergers is hidden in our minds.

Amazing voice. Glad she has this outlet to use. Its a talent. My son has Aspergers and at almost 5 will be interesting to see him grow and learn. For those of you being so rude and judgemental, take a look in the mirror and see whos the one with no talent! Clearly YOUR parents never bothered to teach you respect!

The audience is old as fuck and show it by just sitting there. Maybe she should have sung Jingle Bells for those old fucks.

she is so cool!
Don't talk about someone who has a autism and can have such talent. My son is autistic and they are very smart. You people look at people like that and judge them even if she is bigger, she has a tremendous voice. If you knew what autism was then you would understand that is a talent for autistic children. the difference in autistic children or people is that they have a heart when no of you do and you can't even come close to know what it's like. Remember what goes around will come around!

As someone with Aspergers, I know for a fact how hard it would have been for her to get up on stage and sing in front of all those people. People with Autism and Aspergers struggle everyday to fit in and function just the same as the rest of you people out there. It's just harder for us because what comes naturally to you, doesn't to us. We are not retarded, we are not vegetables. We are people just like you. The difference is we would NEVER say such horrible things to you as you have to us.
