Tuna can be tiresome, and ramen noodles can get boring. But combine them like this, and you've got a cheap and tasty meal.

To complete this how-to, you will need:

A measuring cup
2 water
A large microwave-safe bowl
A microwave oven
A dishtowel
1 package of ramen noodles, any flavor
1/4 c. frozen peas
A plate large enough to sit on top of the bowl
1 slice of American Cheese
And a 3-ounce can of tuna
A stove or hot plate (optional)
A small pot (optional)
And garlic powder and hot sauce (optional)

Step 1: Pour water in bowl

Pour the water into a large microwaveable bowl.

Step 2: Microwave water

Microwave the bowl of water on high for three minutes.

Step 3: Remove bowl from microwave

Using the dishtowel to protect your hands, carefully take the hot bowl out of the microwave.

Step 4: Add seasoning to water

Open the ramen noodles seasoning packet and add the contents to the water.

Step 5: Add peas to water

Add the peas to the water.

Step 6: Submerge noodles in water

Snap the block of ramen noodles in half and submerge them in the water.

Step 7: Cover & let sit

Cover the bowl with the plate and let the noodles sit for five minutes.

If you have a stove or hot plate, you can cook the noodles in a small pot of boiling water for three minutes.

Step 8: Drain broth

When the noodles are ready, take the plate off the noodle bowl and, using a fork to hold back the noodles, drain the broth out into the sink.

Step 9: Mix noodles w/ peas

Pour the noodles and peas into a bowl.

Step 10: Add cheese to noodles

Quickly tear the slice of cheese into a few smaller pieces, and add them to the noodles while theyre still hot.

For extra kick, add a sprinkle of garlic powder and a dash of hot sauce.

Step 11: Drain liquid from tuna

As the cheese melts, open the can of tuna leaving the lid barely attached andpressing down on the lid so the tuna doesnt escapedrain and discard the liquid from the can.

Step 12: Add tuna & mix

Add the tuna to the noodles, peas, and cheese, using the fork to toss everything together. Bon apptit.

Ramen noodles made their debut in space on the shuttle Discovery in July of 2005.
