The first part of this video reviews the goals of the keyword research tutorial. The video also shows simple steps to use the Google Keyword Suggestion Tool, which is really just keyword research 101. We're mainly interested in exporting the data from the Google Keyword Suggestion tool to import into another tool that we review and explain in video 2.

This a quick method of doing keyword research, and if you just use the steps in this video to pick your keywords, then you are doing what about 80% of everyone else does to chose their keywords for an SEO campaign. Our goal is to go beyond that, and put the power in your hands so you can choose keywords yourself, using data to make informed decisions about what keywords are most valuable.
