I played this film recently at my weekly cult-film screenings. No-one fucking got it. People freaked at the rape scene, drug-use and bad language. They just saw as it as a very nasty and depraved film. What a bunch of fucking pussies! I couldn't beleive it! Feminists giving me all this shit! I thought the film was actually pro-feminist in many ways, sort of quasi rape-revenge, definately had interesting social commentary, awesome special effects and the most killer soundrack ever!!!!

The only info I've ever heard beyond the wiki article is that anne carlile married an orthodox jew and became very orthodox jewish. There is a 3 or 4 part talk given by Tsukerman the writer director of the film who kept in some touch with her over the years and summed her up as such. The one I'd really like to see again is Paula Shepard. I think she and Brooke Shields debuted in the same movie.
