Shamrock Store catches on fire - St. Johns, Portland, OR

PLEASE READ!!!!

Ok, so a popular little corner store up the street from my house in my town (St. Johns) caught on fire today. Actually, it more like exploded, but anyways.. The power in all of the St. Johns area went out for about 4-5 hours (it finally came back on at 9:00pm). It was actually pretty big deal for me because i've lived in this neighborhood for about 8 years and nothing like this has ever happened.

I know you cant really tell in the video, but a bunch of people where either running, biking, or driving all the way up there just to see the commotion.

And before you ask, the song in the video is Boulevard of Broken Dream by Greenday. Awesome song.

I think we lost power when this happened. I was glad that this store is gone. It was shuzzy. I hope another store opens up there though, but something nicer.

@Commadoo I understand your opinion. I'm just saying, it was pretty popular in my neighborhood, and that was the closest little corner store anyone could go to to pick up a few items instead of driving/walking out to safeway or somewhere, and now its gone...
