Yeah, Richard Chamberlain was certainly not any sort of action hero, and I really fail to see him as a love interest. The guy was too much of a dandy. I'll admit I'm a huge fan of the 3 Damon flicks, but as a reader of Ludlum's books I find this a poor representation of the original story.

@DISPENSER4HIRE I'd have to say the modern Bourne's character was more military. And instead of making him a genetically-enhanced supersoldier, they just made him into a super soldier through perfectly normal mind-washing techniques and advanced combat training.

well, you will either enjoy it or not. If you grew up back then like me you probably will enjoy the old and the new for what they are worth.

Ok we have read the novels they are great but the new movies are a modern thake and LOSELY based of the book hell even robert ludlum was involved in the 2002 version
