Love this! Figured out in the meantime that it is the June 8, 1958, Moscow Conservatory performance (interpretation, creaks and coughs included). Super! Thanks so much! Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!

This has to be one of the most brave and beautiful sonatas ever written.

around 8:30, are those Scriabin's hands? I've read somewhere that he had small hands, seem to be true...
-
Its the third movement of the third sonata, which is fusionned with the fourth movement. I've played them, very difficult; the fourth movement was only noise uncomprehensible under my fingers

Has Sofronitsky ever played Op 1 No1 or Op16 No1?
Could anybody post them please?
Thank you.

truecrypt, thank you. Have you VV Sofronitsky playing Skrjabin Fantasia op28? or HG Neuhaus playing Chopin Fantasia op49, where Neuhaus was, Richter has said, untouchable?

Hello yekhaty;
I just uploaded Sofronitsky playing Scriabin Op. 28 I don't recall (and don't have) H. Neuhaus playing Op. 49
But I'll check if it's available...
