This video was uploaded from an Android phone. the mark II on the road for the 1st time since 1965 and under her own power! she is a true survivor, all original(minus the tires which are just rollers we used) 24k miles.

I remember those. That trip backing out the driveway, up the street
10 feet, then back, then up would burn about a half gallon of gas,
and the engine was a stock Lincoln which was underpowered for
the extra weight of the Continental. For 10 grand and 4 mpg the
least Ford could have done is supercharge it.
Starry eyed baby boomers go gaga over these but it was just
another Ford goocher of the day like the Edsel. Pretty but way
overpriced, impractical and mechanically undependable.
