This is an icedancing performance of Romeo and Juliet from the 1998 Winter Olympics.
It features an impressively strong young woman named Marina Anissina from Russia.
Her partner is Gwendal Peizzerat.
The pair represented France here at Nagano, Japan and throughout their career.
They won the Bronze Medal this time around.
Later, in 2002, they would return and win gold.
Anissina and Peizerrat were known for, and crowd favorites because of, the reverse lift, Marina's signature move, where Marina would
hoist and support her heavier male partner at one or more points in the program-- the "reverse" of how all pairs lifting otherwise takes place in these competitions.
Here, for example, you'll see the announcers review Marina as she holds Gwendal near her hip and waves with her free hand, then later support Gwendal toward the end of their program while the two exchange a kiss.
The latter happens in the "live action" portion of this clip as well, but you'll have to follow closely enough to predict when it occurs, for Gwendal's feet get cut from screen while this happens.
(It'll still be readily apparent that she's lifting him, though...)
The precedent appears to have made an impression on some competitors, and pair skaters like Federica Faiella and Massimo Scali
now incorporate similar "girl-lifts-guy" moves in their program.
