The Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort hosted a spectacle when 84 of the most beautiful women in the world took the catwalk as models in the Fashion Show of the Miss Universe Pageant. The unique feature of this fashion show is that the contestants of the 58th Miss Universe Pageant, converging in The Bahamas from Albania to Zambia were outfitted by three outstanding Bahamian designers who utilized the locally manufactured fabrics of Androsia and Bahama Hand Prints for their creations.
The three designers chosen after an open call are: Rachel Turnquest-Garcia of Rachels Boutique, Basheva Eve of La Maison de Besh, and Sabrina Francis of SEB Fashions.
