I have a Nikkor AF 50mm lens for my 35mm film camera. Would it work on the D3100? if So i'm totally getting one. I want shots like this.

@ConvergecultBastard well, im pretty sure it will work .. but i think you'll only be able to manual focus with it i.. but thats fine if your doing videography .. however its a hassle when it comes to shooting stills though..
