I Don't Think There is cymbals.. in this voxdoc59. It sounds Like The Matallic overtones From Buddy's Acoustic Rhythm guitar.. Lets not forget in them days they Used A lot of Reverberation.

I agree regarding the overdubs by The Fireballs but this music is easily found on vinyl and CD these days.
This song has great energy; I love the guitar work of young Sonny Curtis, who was doing his best to impress the rhythm guitarist on this session, the great Grady Martin. Sonny admits now that he didn't know who Martin was - and if he had known, he wouldn't have been able to play at all.
This is on an album called Ohh! Annie! I recommend it unreservedly...

Brilliant & Pure .. Why have idiots been allowed to ruin Buddy recordings with inapropriate twangy reverby plucky guitar bits & naff backing vocals. We need a complete & comprehensive boxset of unaltered Buddy songs (the fireballs oberdubs are the worst !)
