Yes this is an MD-10. Besides the md-10 lettering on the nose, there is only ONE another tell-tale give-away. The HF(vhf?)antenna is moved back to the center top of fuselage. (see :44)

Look at all DC-10's. The antenna is more towards the top front.

(this info ~is 'top secret', btw) lol

  • Thanks for the video add.!

    No more education needed, Thanks.

The pilotofnorway and I are on the same page---You on the other hand need more than an education.

    McDonnell Douglas ► ONE 'S'.

  • @str0en0gth md 11 has winglets , dc 10 has none

  • @jimmywacked i see, thanks for the info!

  • @defaultytuser No, they fly to Indianapolis and to Texas- near (DFW) nightly.

  • Fedex flies only to memphis from FLL , right?

  • you just gotta love this plane

  • Another way you know it is not an MD-11 is the fact that it doesn't have little winglets. MD-11s always have those winglets. DC-10s do not have them.

  • True!

  • its a dc-10 not a md-11

  • this is a DC-10-10 (or MD-10) and it doesn't contain the middle gear.
