Former Israel foreign minister gets his facts wrong about Hamas rocket attacks and is stopped by the news presenter Emily Reuben with a "fact sheet" given by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and created by the Intelligence & Terrorism Information Center at the Israel Intelligence Heritage & Commemoration Center, (IICC), which is routinely cited on the Israeli government websites.

This clip has been edited by me to include the "fact sheet" found browsing the Israel MFA government website and to include Mr Regev stating Hamas fired no rockets at Israel during June to November 4th 2008. The interview with the former minister has also been cut short. The full interview is available on the news site to see what I excluded.

  • The trouble with Zionists is that they believe their own crap.

  • Yes it is, it's because the United States media is controlled by Zionists and you have millions of brain dead americans who believe what they see on TV instead of making their own research and seeking the truth. No matter, Israel has been exposed and soon I hope it will get judged in front of the world.

  • @mrkv39 Timeline - Hamas won elections, Fatah didn't like it - Fatah tries a coup on for size, Hamas averts the rebellion - Press reports Hamas controls gaza after forcing out their fatah rivals. But of course you won't open your eyes to any of the facts because your loyal to Israel and that's all that needs to be said on this to you and to be honest, I don't give a rats arse to what you think. You've wasted 20 minutes of my time this morning and you won't be wasting anymore. Ciao!

  • @mrkv39 So according to you, I can come to your land and simply take it for myself! The police won't do anything because they want to keep me sweet or are too scared. So you resort to throwing stones over the wall I built. I retaliate by throwing a grenade over back at you and kill your family. Well, you shouldn't throw stones! - And that sums up your argument.

  • @wmrkv39 So according to you, Israel should be overthrown. According to you every government should be overthrown. But you have it backwards and to no surprise you have it as Israel doing the retaliating to the provocative rockets. When you have occupied people and their land for over half a century and then punish the people for voting by putting them on a starvation diet, rockets are an inevitable consequence of that. The whold world wants israel to obey the law and go back to their borders.

  • @mrkv39 You believe in the rule of law? lmfao- The whole reason the situation is the way it is, is because Israel won't obey international law and United Nations Security Council Resolutions. Don't tell me to check wiki to see the Israeli friendly press comments about Hamas controlling gaza. They're trying to GOVERN it as they WON elections. Control - lol - wiki reflects what the press say and the press are on Israel's side so that's no surprise they use that word.

  • @wotdoesitmatter I beleive in the rule of law. If my relatives were killed because my government recklessly fired rockets into another country and than failed to defend my family, I will blame my government. The purpose of any government is to protect its citizens.. if it can't, it should be overthrown. Hamas accomplishes NOTHING by firing those useless missles BUT endanger the lives of their own countrymen and they assign Zero value to their lives and this is their biggest crime.

  • @wotdoesitmatter you need to check your facts. Go to wiki and type Gaza strip. "Hamas seized control of the region following a milita war with Fatah in June 2007". Gaza is controlled by hamas and it is a fact. It is stupid to argue over facts. Just because there are some groups not loyal to hamas in gaza, it doesn't mean it is not responsible for rockets coming out of its territory. While hamas might not control borders, it surely contorls whats goes INSIDE those borders.

  • btw, if those mexicans where getting killed by shelling from the US or killed when the US makes incursions into mexico, I'm sure that there would be groups in Mexico dissatisfied with their countries lack of a response, who would retaliate without their governments permission.

I'm sure if your family was killed, you'd send a thank you note to their killers.

  • @mrkv39 Very short sighted. Who said Gaza is "controlled by Hamas"? Hamas doesnt say that. Dont try and equate Gaza with any other country on earth. Gaza is an open air prison under siege. They don't control their borders, airspace or maritime areas. Israel Controls them. Hamas doesn't control what comes in. Hamas has no say in what goes out. btwThis was an Israeli source quoted routinely on the Israeli Government website saying that there are groups in Gaza not loyal to Hamas. Every1 knows that

  • Why make a distinction between hamas and some groups under hamas' control? Hamas controls Gaza and rockets were fired from Gaza. If hundreds of rockets start landing in US town accross from Mexico, would we care that it wasn't actually Mexican military firing it but some group that is under Mexican control? What difference doesn it make when US cities are being attacked from Mexico?

  • @PalestineWillPrevail you need to be brian-dead american to support palestinians. Palestinians sided with Hitler during WWIII, sided with USSR during the cold war, sided with Saddam during Desert Storm, and bought hundreds of thousands of bin laden posters.... why should US support Palestinians? WHY?
