Fakaakeake Valu Noa - Siasi Tonga Ma'ulu'ulu

a Song I recorded for the Church of Tonga Reno, NV Chapter at my home studio in Sparks, NV about a year and a half ago. Please enjoy their wonderful voices.

Traditional harmonies are common amongst my Tongan people and just Polynesians in general. Absolutely loved working with this 8 piece choir. Yes, only 8 people sang on this track. Awesome right? Rich with all natural talent.

The great thing about this choir and this session, was that this whole session was done with one pass. They warmed up once and then I recorded the 2nd time and was solid. I had the males do one pass by them selves for more bottom end and that was it. Very little compression and eq'ing was done to their recording. Basically it is all NAT-TRU-AL!
