  • Just today it happened to me that I wondered about this way of "must" , but in the past. (did I use happen correct?)

    He had an accident. He "HAD TO?" looking at this pretty girl / He must had looked at ?

  • @szczurekprzepyszny -- "He must have looked at her," would be correct.

  • @learnamericanenglish my problem with English is I don't speak, but I like to know. Why "he must have looked" if he finished looking at and there is no result- except an accident. I would agree if "he have had an accident" as a result of the accident is a damaged car;)
