anthony Williams was a genius and introduced the "spider web" tuning. In those days Pan am North Stars were king with the sweetest pans. Shell Invaders were a poor second. Their "Voice of Spring" was magnificent and still is.
Brings back memories of those music festival days, I grew up in pan yard and did not learn how to play....being of the fairer sex you know it wasn't allowed back in the day but the beautiful music stayed with me...Thanks! IsDePanInMe for the postings.
This was my favourite steelband. They played "El Relicario" in one of the competitions .Can anyone help with the upload of this tune? I think that it is the most beautiful piece of music ever played on the steelpan!!!

I grew up listening to this band in the 60's from my neighborhood. Great group of musicians. Winners of the first 2 panoramas.
Festival winners. They were from Bombay Street, St. James. Then relocated to Upper Bournes Road.
Their arranger was Anthony "Tony" Williams, pan pioneer and tuner. One of the best ever.
Amazing piece of music here. Nice clean copy. Thx for upload.
Have some of their music on cassette tape(scratches, skips and all).
Still listening to them..lol
