  • I was browsing through queen elizabeth 2009 performances of this work, and accidentally hit this one and wow! This is not only superior, but FAR superior to any of those. The beauty and color of her tone and her suave musical taste are astounding! I just wish she didn't dance around so much. Playful though, without rushing through the rondo like most do. Classy and mature. Bravo, Esther!

  • Oh my god, I don't know what just happened to my ears. It's like they were blessed with the beautiful sound of a violinist who rises to the stars and above.

  • amazing emotion in her version. i agree, a little too much body language, but the music is still really good.

  • Esther is amazing! Too much body language.

  • great performance, but too much theatrics and dancing. Destructs the audience from focusing on the music (besides, it feels coached and fake).

  • ok i just got goosebumps

  • robyn, A beautiful piece of music played perfectly. She is amazing. I also just saw Andrew Sords perform live and he was fantastic. I'd like to hear more of his work. Back to this piece, anyone who plays the violin or loves to listen to it should hear this rendition by Esther Kim.

  • She is absolutely amazing, no doubt what soever, however, give some good credit to her violin teacher.

  • I have heard just about every famous violinist play this piece on YouTube and was impressed by many, but Esther Kim showed me how lyrical and elegant it could sound.

  • amazing!!!

  • I love how she responds to the piano. It's just her and the piano alone in that room.
