Dont reopen with after Vanish with Mutilate, your Ambush should Always crit with a 50% if your geared properly, so use that for a little more burst. Even garrote helps more then wasteing it on a Mut.

4k DPS with t9 is pretty terrible, anyone with a good roatation pulls 6K+ Reguardless.

also, ambush hits for shit without armor pen, and doesnt apply zeee poisons from your offhand. mut dps = 69% poisons.

@humpp56 Actually. With 5 Deadly poisens up. Ambush will proc poisens broseph :) And with an ICC 30% buff, and a raw 70% crit chance, 12k AMbushes>8-9k Mutilates bro Kthxbai

@overdoce123 you would be missing a combo point, ambush doesnt proc offhand poisons, mutilate can double crit for more energy.

Yea really, good guide other than the poisons, Deadly is always up so no need to have it on the OH, Instant Poision on the other hand needs to proc alot more, and will do so by putting it on your OH, which has a faster swing time.

@DBZ4life111 wrong, deadly is based on a percent chance to proc, while instant is ppm (proc per minute). No matter the weapon speed instant will proc the same, deadly however, will proc less with a slow weapon. Also, at 5 stacks deadly will proc the poison on the other weapon, making it a dps increase to keep it on the fast weapon.

Great vid man, i am currently a combat rogue, but i had no idea that assassination was the best single target dps, ima try it out. Thanks for the very helpful info. As for people who say he is doing it wrong or that they do it better, then why the hell are you looking up rotations, if you already know it, and no matter how bad you are, you aren't fail if you try and help people.

Nice thing u talk about the slow weapon aplying deadly. but nvm u have 80% chance of aplying it so its not so hard to aply it even with 1.80 weapons. depends. i have 2x hearpieces from icc and my mutliate crits are 10k always.envenom is a chance of attack power and buffs so its never the same

@overdoce123 That's actually wrong. To ambush, you need to wait around 0.5-1sec for the stealth bar to appear and for the ability to be used. In that time, you lose white damage, which could be as much as 6k in that second with the envenom proc up... But mutilate is more dmg than ambush either way, since you would never pick improved ambush just for that.
