@Gandhiichip So you're saying the song isn't good anymore because it became mainstream/successful? I don't think that makes them sellouts; it just makes you judgy. It's a good song and always will be because it's GOOD.
Oh and when music's your career, "selling out" means you're doing your job well. It's another thing if they let it get to their heads and that doesn't look like it's happened quite yet.

I'd say selling out is putting together a piece of work for entirely fiscal reasons... like madonna or britney. That formulaic safe shit is selling out. This is so far from that. If you stop liking a song because it has become big then it's you that sold out you shallow fuck. Using your choices of music to market yourself as only edgy. Lost your soul.
