The Asatru are accepting, logical, and spiritual at the same time. I've never seen a religious organization so involved or intellectual before. It makes me seriously consider becoming a private AFA Odinist. It's all about roots. I love the connection I have to Asatru and I wish everyone from every ethnic group could have this for themselves. Organic religions are best I think, I hope in time all of the colors, races and creeds around the world find their roots like I have.

Wotan Bless... Steve, I am posting this message to you in hopes that you can answer some questions for me.I follow Temple of Wotan and am wondering what are your veiws towards us as followers of the teachings of David Lane?
And do you utlize the 14 word in your Assembly?If so would 1488 also be of use in your Assembly?

And don't believe stories of human sacrifice. I've studied the matter extensively and such stories are typical of Roman and medieval Christian despots trying to descredit their competitors. For example, the eleaborate Viking sacrifice involving a maiden culminates in her role as a priestess being affirmed - something frowned upon by certain bishops etc.. - not in her death.

I just want to comment that in Buddhism, getting off of the wheel of incarnation isn't the main goal of nirvana, it's just a side effect of enlightenment, which is to, as separate from knowing, to fully understand the world around us.
Also, Sigr should have a longer i, like Sieg instead of Sigg.

Asatru is probably the only religion that I respect, it is my ancestor's path after all.
I 100% agree with their moral/ethical stances and beliefs, but I do not believe in any literal god or gods, it is more a symbolic thing for me.
