The most exhilarating live performance I've ever seen on youtube. The lead guitarist is shredding it from the start. Instead of the writer, pianist and genius of the band band getting pissed off at it... at 1:20 Warren is so into what's going down, as if it's the best moment ever.... and that, my friends, is what it's all about. Long live rock. Long live the spirit of Warren Zevon. By fuck we need it.

Yes Warren was a "Genius". A great song writer, good musician, and a pretty fair singer. He sorrounded himself with great talent, both live and in the studio. He is an unsung hero of rock and roll.
