  • heading to vail next week for the first time, so pumped watching your vids. the snow isnt going to be like this though. where are the best spots to hit stuff like this right now at vail? blue sky basin isnt open

  • @brettt401 it's your lucky day! Blue Sky is opening... today! It's been dumping in Vail. For the best Vail Snow forecast check out this site: snowforecast . com/Vail it's the best. Have fun, I'll be out there the last weekend in January and I'll be shooting my first videos of the year. FINALLY SNOW!

  • Going skiing there in February!! Any suggestions on where some good spots are?

  • @unoseabug Try and ski Vail during the week. Weekends can be super crowded. Hit Chair 5 early in the morning before the lift maze gets full. Then definitely check out Blue Sky Basin if you have never skied it before.

  • i hit this when i was at vail 2 years ago. sick as hell

  • @cyckoman Yeah great cliff jump. Not too many hit it b/c you have to duck a rope to get there.

  • @dantemonteverde, no problem nothing drives me crazier when you hit something super technical and get zero credit becuase the people that saw it only look at the rock you jump off of, minus #1 how much higher it looks when your on top #2 how tough it is to spot a landing on a blind takeoff #3 the fact that a cliff is almost always gonna be 3 feet higher because of snow on top and no matter how small you go, your always gonna land 4 or 5 feet below the rocks

  • you are all just looking at the rocks which are infact around 10-12 feet, but notice about 3 feet of snow above the rocks, not only that the cliff is angled upward so when he goes off with that speed he probably gets another 3 or 4 feet hiegher than the top of the cliff so now we are at around 18 feet in the air, plus he absolutely flies way past the base of the rocks a good 10 or 15 feet below them this is like 28-33 feet

  • i live there :D... everyday in vail is my thing

  • Not to be mean but how do not land that.

  • @SKIFREESTYLEFREAK I've skied in Oregon and Washington and while the terrain is decent the snow is much wetter and heavier. Colorado definitely has some of the best, driest, champaign powder in North America. And Vail's terrain is sick!

  • i wish i lived in vail i live in oregon the only good ski resorts ar mt bachalor and mt hood meadows the rest suck.
