Final Fantasy 9 Walkthrough: Ozma

Aura here, and this is my fight with Ozma, one of the hardest boss fights in RPG history.

Here are a few tips that I don't think I mentioned:
- Make you give at least 3 of your party members Auto-Life
- Full-Life is a must have
- Luck! Luck! Luck! Ozma's attacks are almost random AND he takes up three turns simultaneously.

my team consisted of Zidane, Dagger, Amarant, and Steiner... Zidane was in trance and amarant had power throw which made wing edges do 9999... and of course steiner with shock... i agree with your statement as that is a must have... it was all speed, damage, and luck for me lol

good video :)....very impatient though, havnt tried your team to beat him yet, i came close tons of times with five different teams

team 1: Garnet,Zidane,Vivi, Freya

team2: Garnet, Zidane, Steiner, Vivi

team3: Garnet, Zidane, Vivi, Quina

team4:Garnet, Zidane, Vivi, Eiko

team5: Freya, Zidane, Vivi, Eiko

I beat the rest of the game after renunion in lindblum when Garnet loses her voice. with the team of Garnet, Zidane, Vivi, Eiko.

@ShadowChad Well don't get me started with PSP ones. Advent Children made no sense to me at all and I saw it on UMD but it was slightly better than the other movie. 10-2 sucked but 10's flaw was Tidus the game is about Yuna,FF14 don't play MMORPG. I say head to The Spoony Experiment and watch his reviews of FF8 & 10 you'll laugh till it hurts and the GBA/NDS FF games are cheap start with 4,5,6 then play 1,2,3 you should play the old FF games at least once it won't kill you to play them.

@loomp I respect your opinion, but do not necessarily agree with it. I enjoyed Advent Children, as well as 8 and 9, 10 was good, but 10-2 sucked. I actively play FF14

@loomp FF9 was also for me too, I never played the ones before 7 but I loved 'em all. I always thought it was very accomplishing to say you "master" the game (secret bosses, all magic spells, powered-out). I followed a guide for ff8 and the last boss was easy for me. FF9 was cool too, I wanted to fight Ozma just to say I beat one of the hardest bosses in FF history. You can go to menu -> configuration to shorten the summon animations

@loomp The shadow is random, but there are a group of locations it'll pop up, just check them out one by one. Lol, breeding on ff7 was easier, but for ff9, its not too hard, I used...uh...I forgot the website, but just google chocobo treasure locations, it tells you where the treasures are, how to get to the chocobo paradises and how to get to ozma. Ozma gives you the other pumice piece, needed for Garnet's final summon, Ark.

@loomp by chocobo treasure hunting, when you gain an air chocobo, you gotta fly and look for a shadow lurking over and then use that seed to make the chocobo fly up and bow!
