  • I love your accent.

  • But the 6850 is a 100$ cheaper! so the GTX460 is just a bullshit card for that price, you could get a card more than twice performance of a gtc460.

  • @GAMeEnTHuSiaST1 Depends on what you call bang for buck, because it really depends what can you buy for your money's worth. GTX 570 is cheap if you make money in dollars or euros. If you live in a rich country you can afford dual GTX 570's easly, but when the money you make is worth shit compared to dollars or euro, you are stuck with budget side of things :P

  • @Tobiash87 yea know the best bang for the buck in my opinion would be a gttx 570l. I have 2 and managed 2 overclocked enough on liquid to beat dual 580's be a decent margin.

  • @angleisthebest I am very satisfied with my SOC 460 GTX. Seen so many benchmarks (with minimum fps as well - guru3d.com for good example) since both cards hit the market and I think that GTX 460 is still a overall better card with more efficient shader processors (outperforms 6850 clock vs clock) and generally has higher overclock capabilities. HD 6850 on the other side is awesome for lower power usage and good price. It's a very good card very well worth getting for a gaming PC.

  • @MrGaming22 that's pure bullshit.

  • @Tobiash87 I'm fully aware of that, but it's not the issue. The issue lies with 1) power saving state on any Fermi card, 2) terrible default driver profiles for games and 3) GPU usage drops. And there's still plenty of 460s still for sale, now re-branded as 560s (non-ti). These cards were good when they worked a year ago with 258 drivers, since then they've completely sucked & since almost none of the review sites show minimum framerates, it is only good on paper with skewed averages.

  • @angleisthebest It's a degraded version. GTX 460 1GB 256bit is the way to go. Gigabyte SOC version is on par with 6870 and GTX 470. But it's hard to find one now I guess. Best bang for buck I could get at the time I was building my gaming PC :)

  • lol i had the same Samsung monitor, the led for the standby was really weird, sometimes it went on without any reason and that started blinking and then turned off again lol.

Probably korean communication's to send messages all over the world :P..

And to think i got a XFX 6850 for €80,s when i traded the stock card 6450 in :D

  • Needs more CPU heatsink.
